Does anyone have a package that calculates Pade approximants from
a given series. This is supposed to be available in Mathematica 2.
but I'd rather not wait for the indefinate release date. I've just
started with mathematica, so am not up to doing it myself yet.
The syntax suggested on p 14 of the second edition of Wolfram's book is
Pade[F[x],{x,x0,Nnum,Nden}] where F[x] is a specified function,
x0 is the point about which its expansion is to be compared with that of the
Pade approximant, and Nnum and Nden are the degrees of the numerator and
denominator polynomials, respectively.
