Ray Tracing Interfaces 9:45 PM 2/20/92

Howdy --

I'm looking for help and information on interfacing
Mathematica (on any platform) with commercial ray
tracing packages, primarily RenderMan. Has anyone
seen software which will interface Mathematica Graphics3D
objects with 3D rendering packages? If so, could you
name the supplier or supply download information if
it's a free product?

While I'm primarily interested in hooking Mathematica
up with RenderMan's RIB interchange format on the Mac,
I am interested in understanding the alternatives, both
in terms of using other rendering packages and machine
platforms (NeXT, Sun, etc.).

Thanks in advance. Reply to the address below:
