We're having an open house for prospective students here Saturday. I
was wondering if I could get some help with demos for Mathematica 2.0.
We use Sun SPARCstation's with SunOS 4.1.1 and color monitors. I was
hoping that some of you out there had some simple (or not so simple)
but elegant packages or one-liners that would show off both
Mathematica and these nice RISC machines: 2D and 3D graphics (color or
B & W), some neat functions to Play[] with, cool animations, etc.
This would be strictly for our internal use here; nothing will be
included in other work or sent elsewhere. There is probably just what
we need amoung the Mma Journal Electronic Supplements, but I guess
those are proprietary, and neither the department nor our library (!)
can afford a subscription (so I'm told). Thanks.
