Alright, TeX via dvips can produce ps code from TeX. The front end on the NeXT can render ps directly in a shell. So I want to imbed TeX ps into a notebook (portability considerations aside). I tried taking a one-line formula, running it through dvips, saved the ps file, imported the ps file into a cell, selected via the sytles inspector "formatted" and formatter "postscript". Zilch happened and my ps code for the formula disappeared. Has anybody tried this? Gregory Lampshire Va Tech EE laural at vttcf.cc.vt.edu
