Has anyone in this group used Mathematica to solve partial dif.eq's
via separation of variables? I took the obvious first step of
defining my function as a product of three terms, each a function of
one space variable. Is there any way to tell mathematica that
certain variables are completely independant, so that it will
separate them?

Thanks for any ideas.
