extending Plus

I would like to "ADD" two matrices, which contain different types of objects.

one matrix would contain elements of the extended natural numbers, while 

the second matrix would contain elements of the direct product of

the two element Boolean Algebra and some set X.  This 'Plus' would not be 

a binary operation, since closure is lacking. (of course one might use embeddings)

The actual 'how to' between these objects is not critical for overloading...

Any hints, suggestions, etc. regarding overloading would be appreciated.
