		     MATHSOURCE CALL FOR MATERIALS
		     -----------------------------

MathSource is a collection of Mathematica packages, Notebooks, examples,
and programs contributed by Mathematica users worldwide and by Wolfram
Research. The purpose of MathSource is to provide a means for this
material to be stored in an organized fashion and available to users
via electronic mail, anonymous ftp, and direct dialup. MathSource
includes many types of Mathematica-related material such as:

Mathematica packages and applications in all fields

Mathematica Notebooks for Macintosh, NeXT, and Microsoft Windows

Mathematica technical reports and other documentation

Mathematica examples, including graphics, animations, and sounds

 Mathematica news and information

MathSource is accessible through electronic mail on all major
computer networks, as well as through anonymous ftp and direct dialup.
MathSource is organized as a collection of items, each item containing
various subitems. In a typical case, there is one subitem or more
consisting of versions of a particular package, together with other
subitems containing documentation in various formats for the package,
or examples of its use. Note that MathSource can also handle binary
programs that operate with Mathematica.

Among MathSource's special features are:

 Keyword-based searches

Material returned in ASCII, TeX, PostScript, or Notebook format

Compression and encoding for Unix, PC, and Macintosh systems

Automatic notification of new material and updates
