Third Annual Conference on College Mathematics:
TEACHING, TECHNOLOGY, and APPLICATIONS
March 20 & 21, 1992
Hosted by:
Grand Valley State University
L.V. Eberhard Center
310 W. Fulton St.
Grand Rapids, Michigan
With support from:
Addison-Wesley Publishing Company
This conference, like those in the past, supports and encourages calculus
reform. Participants are introduced to nationally-known exemplary
projects, as well as more local activities. Many projects have been funded
the National Science Foundation. Most have resulted from faculty interest
in using the available technological tools to better present college
mathematics. In addition to changes in calculus, related changes in the
college mathematics curriculum are also occurring. Sessions and workshops
will highlight other courses as well; linear algebra, discrete math, and
statistics to name a few.
The conference registration fee is $40.00. To register by phone, call
(616) 771-6626. For more information call Dr. Carl Erickson (616) 895-2309.
