Dear mathgroup
I read the replies to Nick Fann's question about printing
Mma postscript files with interest. I have had, and continue
to have, a similar problem. I use Mma 2.0 locally on a mac
and port postscript versions of my notebooks or graphics
to a sun workstation which also runs Mma 2.0. I generate
the postscript files on the mac by selecting the Print option
from the File menu and then selecting the Postscript option
from the Print dialog. These postscript files fail to print
on a Laserwriter attached to our ethernet, whether or not
I run psfix on the sun. I have had no problems with this
method with any other application. If I append a showpage
command to the end of the postscript file I get a blank
output page. I have checked that the postscript files
are properly terminated. I have system 7.0 on the mac and I
switch background printing off to ensure I get the EOF. I
would value any suggestions at this stage.
