Please can someone suggest to me a compact way to find a Similarity
transformation matrix X such that
-1
X AX = J.
Where A is a square matrix with multiple eigenvalues and J is the
jordan canonical form.
I have come across several texts that state such transformations
but donot discuss how to achieve it.
