MathGroup,
	I am looking for papers, books, pakages or pointers regarding
implimentation of the varirational calculus within Mma. For instance
I would like to be able to take the variational dervatives of complicated
integral equations:

		J[y]:=Integrate[F[x,y[x],y'[x], ... ],x]  ;

 		find del_J[y]/del_y

	Thanks in advance,  Matt.
