	Have you looked at NonLinearFit?  This is included in mma
	version 2.0, under Unix anyway.  It's in the area with 
	miscellaneous packages.  Go to some area like /usr/local/math
	(if you're on a Unix system ), or wherever you have mma installed,
	and look for NonLinearFit.  This was written a few years ago,
	and now supplied with mma.
