Dear MathGroup,

Animations of some interactive numerical experiments based on solving
the 1-D and 2-D Schroedinger Wave equations are now available at MathSource.

There are two ways to get them:

 1) Use anonymous ftp to MathSource, ie.
	% ftp mathsource.wri.com	## or ftp 140.177.10.5
The 1-D Schroedinger animations are in
		/pub/AppliedMath/Physics/schroed.sit.hqx
    And the 2-D animations in
		/pub/AppliedMath/Physics/schroed2D.sit.hqx

 2) Alternatively email to MathSource, ie.
	% mail mathsource at wri.com
To get abstracts for both the 1-D and 2-D versions, send the lines
	find 0204-657
	find 0204-679

Both items are Mathematica Notebooks. If you can't read Notebooks, but
do have a Macintosh, then use MathReader. A copy is at MathSource in
		/pub/Utilities/Macintosh/MathReader2.1.sit.hqx
If you don't have a Macintosh then maybe try printing the Notebooks and
just imagine what the animations look like. Notebook to Tex converters
are in the files
		/pub/Utilities/NB2TeX/DECnb2tex.tar.Z
		/pub/Utilities/NB2TeX/HPnb2tex.tar.Z
		/pub/Utilities/NB2TeX/Sun4nb2tex.tar.Z

Terry.
