"Leaky" ceiling

The evaluation of:

Limit[Ceiling[x], x->1, Direction->-1]
and
Limit[Ceiling[x], x->1, Direction->1]

both return 1.  This is after loading the package Calculus`Limit`.
(Before loading the package, Mathematica does not evaluate this limit.)
Same problem with Floor.  I am using 2.2 on a Mac.  Does anybody have 
any ideas about what is happening?  Fixes?  Thanks in advance.
