Fourier Transforms of Derivatives

I'm sure this has been asked before, but when I take the
FourierTransform[f'[x],x,w]
in the standard package, I expect to ge something like
I FourierTransform[ f[x], x, w]
but it returns the command unevaluated. Why is this and what can I do about it?
