Hello, I have a problem with the use of pure operators. I would like to calculate P L - L P with d=(D[#,x]&) and L=d[d] + u[x] P=d[d] + 6 u[x] d + 3 u'[x] How is this possible, and how can i get the result [PL-LP][u[x]] Thanks in advance -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peter MEURIS Belgian Institute for space aeronomy Ringlaan 3 1180 BRUSSEL BELGIUM phone : +32.2.373.04.18 fax : +32.2.374.84.23 E-mail: peterm at plasma.oma.be wtalk : peter at iaspc8.oma.be URL : http://www.oma.be/BIRA-IASB/Welcome.html --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
