Has anyone got Mathematica v2.2 to run properly on SGI Indys? We have it installed on a cluster of 20 of them, running from a Sparc/Solaris server [using a "binary kit"]. Mathematica comes up fine, but with "a lecture's worth" of material, the files cannot be saved and reopened -- for example, % mathematica Derivs.ma & 24721 % Bus error mathematica Derivs.ma Even deleting the .mb files does not help. It may be that files ending with plots are particularly susceptible. We have discussed this with WRI Tech Support, without much success. If you have been able to get it to work as it should, please let me know how. Any advice would be appreciated! ======================================================= David Hart Center for Statistical and Mathematical Computing Indiana University =======================================================
