This is a known problem and Wolfram has an updated FE that fixes it (call
them, it is free). I believe you can also change the screen magnification
in the popup menu at the bottom of the screen to fix your notebook (I
think one manifestation of the bug is that it changes your screen
magnification to some ridiculous value).
