Mathematica on OpenVMS with MOTIF 1.2?

-- Is it possible to use Mathematica 2.2 on OpenVMS/VAX with DECwindows/MOTIF 1.2 or higher? MOTIFPS keeps complaining it can't find any X-resources since we upgrade to Motif 1.2. If this can be corrected, I would like to know how.
