I didn't succeed with the command line

MATH /MATHLINK /LMODE=LISTEN /LNAME="####@machinename" /LPROTOCOL=TCP

which is proposed in the FAQ Tech Support, but this one works:

^:user\r^:password\r^$MATH /MATHLINK /LMODE=CONNECT 
/LNAME="$LinkName" /LPROTOCOL=TCP\r

Our VMS Version is 6.1, UCX v3.2.
