Well, I agree that there's a learning curve, but that's true for all 
plotting/illustration programs I've used. What I found, though, is 
that the learning is rewarded much more in Mma: once one figures out 
how to make the plots look good, any number of them can be generated 
entirely automatically from any number of datasets. Reporting on new 
experiments then becomes a joy rather than a chore.

Select the graphic and "Print Selection" to an EPSF file.
