I've written a Mathematica package to convert Mathematica 3D graphics to VRML.
You can get the package at

  ftp://ftp.ma.iup.edu/pub/hedonley/VRMLConvert/VRMLConvert.m

I'll put it on MathSource within the next couple of weeks, too.

Information and examples are available at

  http://www.ma.iup.edu/MathDept/Projects/VRMLConvert/

You don't need a Web server to create and view VRML files yourself. All you
need is Mathematica and a free VRML viewer. It is alot of fun to move around
and through(!) a Mathematica graphic.
