You can convert the SurfaceGraphics object to a Graphics3D object 
by wrapping "Graphics3D" around it. Then use Show to combine them.

Here is an example.

In[10]:=
    surf = Plot3D[ Sin[2 x y], {x, -1, 1}, {y, -1, 1} ]
Out[10]=
    -SurfaceGraphics-

In[11]:=
    g3d = ParametricPlot3D[ {Sin[t], Cos[t], t/3}, {t, 0, 15}]
Out[11]=
    -Graphics3D-

In[12]:=
    Show[ Graphics3D[ surf], g3d ]
Out[12]=
    -Graphics3D-
