Has anyone written or have in their possession a package for attaching multiple parallel axes to a single plot? Often two curves might be displayed on one plot with the same x values but with _independent_ y values, and two y axes might be displayed together, one on the left, one on the right, and the viewer is expected to understand which curve goes with which y-axis. What I want, however, at the moment, is much simpler. I want to display data with two y axes, where the quantities on the axes are _dependent_ (and therefore the data points are equally valid with either axis). I have checked MathSource at wolfram without luck. Does anyone have anything that could help me? hamlin_m at pa.msu.edu Please copy responses to email. Thank you. More generally, it would be nice to be able to generate an axis with tick marks and numbers that would automatically be scaled to another axis by providing an interpolating function, and be able to display a plot with any number of x and y axes on any side desired. Multiple axes on the same side would have to be separated by enough space to put numbers and labels in, so the plot would have to be correspondingly smaller.
