Hello. In Mathematica, if one wants to change tick mark lengths, one
must use one of the longer forms of the Ticks command, requiring
figuring out the locations of all the tick marks, and writing them
all out in a long, painful list. With all due respect to WRI, this
blows monkey chunks. Is there a Mathematica package out there to
modify tick marks in a civilized manner? (I would like to globally
reset the length of all major and minor tick marks to particular
fractions of the figure's width.)
Thank you very much in advance,
GB
