Can someone tell me what the hyperbolic polyhedra on the cover of
the Mathematica book (2nd edition) and on pp. 34-5 are? In particular,
are the spikes really finite, or is this just a graphical interpretation
of something infinite? What's the equation? Anyone have a referenence?

I ask because some plots I've generated of ceratin properties of
ultrarelativistic plasmas look exactly the same, and I'm wondering if
they are. (In my case, I don't know what the explicit formula is --
it's the result of numerical integration of something complicated.)
