I want to solve a system of equations numerically using the "FindRoot" function. My question is, how can I input the different variables and their starting points e.g. as a list, rather than typing in all the starting points myself (I've got about 50 equations and variables in the system)? Mathematica accepts inputting the system of equations as a list, but the variables and starting points have to be given in a different form. Thanks for any help! Roland
