I would like to correct my previous post.  I was just browsing through
the guide to add on packages and found Graphics`MultipleListPlot` and
Graphics`Legend` and Graphics`ErrorListPlot` which do automatic error
bars and annotations.  I think drawing an arrow to an exact feature of
the plot would still take a little programming with graphics primitives
though.
