Has any one succeeded in using Mathematica 3.0.1 (or just 3.0) under
Windows 95 to convert an entire Notebook to a TeX source file? I'm
talking about using the File > Save as Special > TeX menu (although I
suppose the same results should follow from evaluating a cell
containing a TeXSave expression.

After initially being able to do so with one such file, I found that
some macros were missing from the notebook.sty file distributed with
Mathematica 3.0.1. After replacing it with one from
ftp.mathsource.com, the resulting (La)TeX file from the conversion did
run without error in LaTeX (more precisely, in LaTeX2e after obvious
hand-editing the \documentstyle command), but the typeset document has
horrendous errors in it, e.g., TeX commands appearing as text.

Now I've tried to do the .nb -> .tex conversion of a much shorter,
seemingly simpler notebook, I cannot even get the conversion to work
to completing without it crashing my system.

Of course, I desperately need to be able to get this to work right away.
Any suggestions -- besides killing myself?
