Wolfram Research is happy to announce the latest in our well-received
series of Mathematica Developer Conferences. The 1997 Mathematica
Developer Conference will be held October 27-29 in Champaign, Illinois,
home of Wolfram Research. As always, these three days will be packed
with activities designed to help Mathematica developers keep up to
date, become more productive, and learn the secrets of successful
technical software development.

The 1997 Mathematica Developer Conference gives you:
- Informative seminars and tutorials on these topics and more--
        Developing Applications
        Programming in Mathematica
Customizing the Front-End with Palettes, Buttons, and Styles
Using Mathematica 3.0 to author books and courseware
- Direct interaction with Wolfram Research developers
- Discussion with Stephen Wolfram, chief architect of the Mathematica
   system
- Tips and tricks from experienced developers
- Roundtable discussions
- Tools and features of the 3.0 Developer Kit

The conference will be an excellent resource for the latest information
on developing application packages with Mathematica 3.0, as well as
your chance to trade notes with developers from around the world.

These gatherings are an opportunity for developers to show their
accompishments, and we always encourage Mathematica Developers to give
presentations during the conference. We are particularly interested in
highlighting projects developed using Mathematica 3.0 and the various
tools and techniques which were used in development. Submissions for
presentations for the 1997 Mathematica Developer Conference must be
received by August 1, 1997, and accepted entries will receive a
discount on the registration fees.

Registration fees include your developer manual, the Mathematica 3.0
Developer Kit, continental breakfasts, lunches, and a reception
banquet. Space is limited, so please reserve your place now. See
<http://www.wolfram.com/devconf97> for registration and hotel
information.
