The equation I wish to solve is one of Maxwell's wave equations, namely,
e''[x]=ke''[t]. A solution to this equation is of the form
e=a*Sin[(2pi/lambda)(x-ct)] where c is 1/(squrt k). Can anyone help me by
suggesting how I enter this into Mathematica? My version is 2.0.
