To run Mathematica (v 2.2.3) under Windows 95, you need the update of
MLLCL16.MLL. You can download it from Wolfram website, but it is quite
difficult to find it. Because it is free, I decide to join it with this
message (it is only 16Kb long). Copy it on you MMA directory.

If the kernel protocol is already set, you will not have to change nothing.
Else, just add the 'Local' protocol, using 'Kernel' in the 'Options' menu.
Click on 'Protocols', 'Add', 'Browse', double-click on the MLLCL16.MLL
file. Close the 2 last dialog boxes by clicking on 'Ok'. In the 'Kernels'
dialog box, choose 'New'. Write 'Local' on 'Description' line, and
'math.exe' on 'Link name' line. Click on 'Ok' to close every boxes.

ATTENTION : even if this protocol is compatible with Windows 3.1,
Windows 95 (of course!), Win-OS2 under OS/2, it doesn't work under Windows
NT, neither in native version for OS/2. These 2 last systems need TCP
installation. (I can't tell you more about that, sorry!).

Besides, if you program under MathLink and you wish to make a 32-bits
MathLink program , you must keep on using TCP under Windows 95. However,
every 16-bits MathLink program may work normally, using Local protocol
under Win 95 !

You can now use MMA under Win95 !
