ConstrainedContourPlot

I'm using Mma 2.2.2 on a PowerMac 8100/110, without any problems except
for the following:

The ConstrainedContourPlot function available in the ExtendGraphics
package does not work with the standard contour plot options (e.g.,
ColorFunction, ContourShading) or with LabelContourLines or
LabelContourLegend functions from ExtendGraphics. One thing that I
noticed is that ConstrainedContourPlot returns a -Graphics- object whereas
the standard ContourPlot returns a -ContourGraphics- object. Converting
the ConstrainedContourPlot output to ContourGraphics does not help,
because when I try to apply either of the label functions to a converted
output I get a long string of error messages. LabelContourLines and
LabelContourLegend work fine with standard ContourPlot output.

Can anyone offer suggestions on how to make the ConstrainedContourPlot,
LabelContourLines, and LabelContourLegend functions work with each other?
