Steve: I have not had the opportunity to look at comp.soft-sys.math.mathematica for a while, and it looks like you are the moderator. Could you post the following question Re: Mathematica X Front end & Linux/fvwm Window Manager. Thanks. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I am trying to get the mathematica X front end to run, with the client being an SGI Oynx, and the server a Linux box running XFree86, using the fvwm window manager. Mathematica version is 3.0. For the most part fvwm seems to handle things OK, with the exception of the 'pallettes'. They come out looking like giberish. Does anyone know if this is a something that fvwm can't handle, or am I doing something wrong. -- Leo Holmberg holmberg at scorpio.kent.edu -----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK----- Version: 2.6.2 mQBtAzCIBxIAAAEDALuumWet6+I+BG6igSU1CtU7BBzSugf+Y2h0gL0RZucht6uK S0gspDxyZLkRtRRyTWqTkFqKA7AwvaWnFg6R7s1Ivyih0gKzHRFNZLqvpb4c6Joq N3eb2+ig/yIJFElZyQAFE7QrTGVvIEMuIEhvbG1iZXJnIDxob2xtYmVyZ0BzY29y cGlvLmtlbnQuZWR1Pg== =fq0Z -----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
