Keep your power generic when computing the InverseLaplaceTransform:

	In[2]:= InverseLaplaceTransform[s^k, s, t]
	Out[2]= t^(-k - 1)/Gamma[-k]

You now have the _general_ transform and can substitute in s in [0,1].
