Did I have mathlink installed?

Hi:
I have installed the Mathematica 3.0 for students(linux version) long
ago. I never tried to use mathlink. Just recently, I like to try it
however I can't find the mathlink.h file. There's mcc in my
/usr/local/bin directory, but not mprep. So I wonder that if my
installation not complete or there is no such a thing for student
verion, then how can I get it?

Thanks for help
