HELP

I am having difficulty with the following problems, if any one can help
it would be greatly appreciated...

1) Outline all the steps that can be taken to find the sum of two mixed
numbers.
     Draw a mind map that highlights these moves.

2) Express in simplest surd form with a rational denominator.

                 2
        ------------------
        sqrt 5 - sqrt 3

(Where sqrt stands for the sqaure root symbol)!

3) Solve the following simultaneous equations:

         x      =  2y  -  1
    3x{sq}  =  x  +  2y{sq}

(Where {sq} stands for the power 2).

Thanks in advance...

Oh - by the way its a miracle that I got this message up here because I
have no idea about news groups so if you could email me a response at
lilone@ozemail.com.au it would be greatly appreciated...
