Hi Jordan,

since I have produced the virtual fonts, I'm resposible for that. I have
installed the fonts on several MikTeX installations and all works fine.

So to Your questions:
1.) Yap can't display PostScript fonts. The next release of MikTeX will
be able to
  convert type 1 fonts into TeX's pk format. 2.) I recommend that You
unpack the archive with the fonts
  (You can download the latest version from my home page
   http://www.mpae.gwdg.de/~kuska ) on a seperate texmf tree.

Edit the miktex.ini file in
texmf\miktex\config
and find the dvips section. Extend the DVIPSHEADERS by something like

[dvips]

## Where Dvips searches for header files.
DVIPSHEADERS=.;%R\dvips//;%R\fonts\type1//;C:\Math3.0\SystemFiles\Fonts\Type
1;

now dvips may find the fonts for inclusion (if You don't download it to
the printer)

- than You must tell the
  configure program

  texmf\miktex\config\configure --root-directories <miktex
root>;<mathfont texmf tree>

 and You must force to update the file name data base by

  texmf\miktex\config\configure --update-fndb

You may copy the wolfram.map file into the miktex\dvips\init directory
and add
this map file to the dvips configuration.

2.1) Setting up ghostscript is a differnt task. And has nothing to do
with the TeX fonts
       if You use the map, that copys the type 1 fonts to the postscript
file all works fine
       if You uses the map for printer resident fonts You must add the
Mathematica
      Type1 font directory to the GS_LIB_PATH (via environment and/or
command line)
      and edit the FONTMAP file in the ghostscript directory.

Contact me if Your problems persist. Hope that helps
  Jens
