Since Mathematica 3.0 you can import a bitmap into the notebook-surface. With the command ShowExpression one can recongnize the transformation of the Bitmap to a String. Does anyone knows something about the underlying coding? Regards Joerg -- Joerg Anrecht anrecht at t-online.de
