Fine fine,

if we start to glorify our and other programs:

The new MathView3D 1.2 version will be placed on MathSource in two weeks
and is able to change view point and to edit up to 8 light sources
interactively with help of two dialogs similar to Mathematica's
viewpoint selector.

The MS-Windows version as well als the SPARC/Solaris version is running
and only the Linux version need a rebuild with the new librarys.

Needles to say that MathView3D support free rotation and spinning of the
graphics as well as the export and import of DXF and OFF files,
writing smooth shaded POVRay output, resolution independ gouraud
shaded PostScript and PNG snapshoots.

Any one who is interested in testing the MS-Windows or Solaris version
can mail me.

MathView3D is total free sofware and the unix archive comes with the
7000 lines source code so that all unix users can rebuild the program
with there own OpenGL or MesaGL library.

The notebook with the manual are now 11 MByte large and document the
usage of the new functions and its options.

  Jens
