Hi,
The problem doesn't seem well-defined to me; take the 1-D case where
the right-hand-side is exp(i theta) for some angle theta. This would be
complex in general. But the left-hand-side is a positive real, so
unless theta is 0,2 Pi, etc., there would be no solution.
