I continue to be plagued by failures of mathematica kernels on sgi machines.
After several hours of computation, the kernel dies.
I am connecting to the kernel from a mac front end.
The problem occurs on a wide variety of sgi machines, with varying cpus and
amounts of memory.
The same computation does not die when on a mac or sun sparc.
The problem is not a shortage of memory (at least as evidenced by
MemoryInUse[]).
The sgi version used is 3.0.0.

Any ideas or assistance would be appreciated.
