ANNOUNCING: A bug fix version of the Notation Package for unix
systems including linux.

AVAILABLE FROM: http://resources.wolfram.com/packages/notation/

SUMMARY:
The Notation Package which ships with Mathematica 4.0 unfortunately
contains a bug in the unix versions. It transpires that
SelectedNotebook[] has slightly different functionality on unix
platforms than it has on either Macintosh or Windows platforms. As a
consequence the styles which the Notation package uses are not added
to the style sheet. In addition the keyboard shortcuts Esc-symb-Esc
and Esc-notation-Esc cannot be used.

This update fixes these problems, as well as including several smaller tweaks.

The Notation package which shipped with Mathematica 4.0 will however
work perfectly correctly, it just won't have the fullest onscreen
appearance.

(The version which will be shipping with Mathematica 4.0.1 will also
fix these problems)

Yours,

   Jason Harris
