I did a very quick check of the profiler at the time 3.0 came out, and I thought I convinced myself that it worked OK. Since then, I have learned that at least the compound expression profiler (ProfileCE) broke. I never got a lot of user feedback on the profiler, so I haven't been very motivated to test and update it for new releases of Mathematica. I am currently working on a suite of debugging tools that are based on some of the same general ideas and code, so I have my head back in that area again. I'll take a look at the profiler, and try to fix it, within the next month or so. I, too, thought that the profiler was available on MathSource, at least as part of the electronic supplement to The Mathematica Journal (volume 5, issue 3). But I see that the last supplement available is volume 5, issue 1. I have emailed the Profiler.m package file and its associated documentation notebook directly to you. I'll see to it that it makes it onto MathSource when I fix it for 3.0 and beyond. Todd Gayley LinkObjects
