Hello,

2 questions about Sound (Play)

- What do the graphics generated by Play mean
  exactly?
I have the impression that the top graphic is
the waveform fed to mathematica (i.e. generated
by a function or a list of values) and the
other one may be the one actually played.
- If the second one is the one actually played,
then that would mean that digital filters are
applied before sending the signal to the
  sound card.
Because I want to know exactly what time
series Mathematica sends to the sound card,
I would like to know what filters are used
  and why.
