Error messages of the kind shown above are emitted by the front end's
typesetting code.  It is an indicator that a formatting action
somehow created a state that should not have occurred.  The causes for
this type of message vary from situation to situation.

regardless of registration status or service level.

The "what you were doing" portion of the error message may be a bit
vague.  It is not necessary really to describe what you were evaluating.
Rather, you should take a look at what editing keystrokes you may
have made before the message was displayed.  Another thing to keep
an eye open for is if it occurs as you're evaluating a cell or group
of cells.  It may be that the problem is occurring as the front end
attempts to format the box form of the output to a cell.
