With your cursor somewhere in the cell, repeatedly click CNTL-dot on
Windows (CMND-dot on Mac?) until the entire text of the cell is
selected. Click one more time to select the bracket--i.e., the cell
itself. This short-cut is especially handy when cell-brackets are
hidden.
