how can i omit the plot of curves before combining them with Show[.]? e.g. a=Plot[x,{x,0,1}]; b=Plot[2 x,{x,0,1}]; Show[a,b]; the output on the screen gets rather complex if a lot of Plot[.]-commands are used and since i'm only interested in the final Show[.]-output, i'd like to omitt the rest, is there a way to do this? thanks, robert
