At the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam the Netherlands (http://www.vu.nl),
department of Physics, I support a project on integrating Computer
Algebra Software in physics courses (note: our students carry a laptop
with Mathematica and Scientific Workplace installed on it with them all
the time).

It is a difficult project and we are looking for contacts, research and
experiences of other people and institutions. What are the do's and
dont's, how to integrate the use in face-to-face classroom, are there
example lesson plans, what to expect from students and what not, how
much time in practicing with Mathematica is needed for students to feel
comfortablbe solving physics problems, etc.

Where are looking for contacts, advice, materials, links etc.

I hope someone can help us further on this subject.

Kind regards,
Silvester Draaijer
