Suppose you are looking for a Front-End option that has something to do with
Margins, but you don't know what it's called. What are you to do?

I accidentally discovered that you can go in the Option Inspector and type
 Margin
in the 'Lookup' prompt and press Ent, Ent, Ent, ...
The Option Inspector will take you through every option with the word
Margin! Now that I know about this trick I have to wonder why I didn't try
it before.

This works in Version 3 and Version 4 (under MS-Windows). I hope it works
with other platforms as well.
-----------
Depending what you are looking for you may need to first select
'Show option values for notebook' or
'Show option values for global'.

------------
Instead you could use my (Info3.m) or (Infor4.m) package which I wrote long
before I discovered the above trick. You can down load this package from
http://www.mathsource.com/cgi-bin/msitem?0210-957

*** For now the down loaded notebook looks much better than the HTML
version. ***
